This memory box is made from a gorgeous maple wood and has a strip of stunning purple heart wood in the center giving it a refined but sophisticated look that will look great on any table, dresser or shelf. The box measures 7"L x 4 1/2" W x 2 3/4" H making it the perfect size for retailer your favorite pictures and souvenirs.

WHAT MAKES THIS BOX SO SPECIAL

Each box I build is handcrafted by me personally. No two boxes are the same. The size and shape of the box is not measured out with a ruler, it is defined by the grain and look of the wood. All wood is locally sourced hardwoods from family owned sawmills in Ohio. I hand select each piece of lumber, looking for the perfect mixture of color and grain.

Note: This box includes an exotic Purple Heart wood in addition to our Ohio hardwoods for a touch of color.

All boxes are constructed with centuries old joinery techniques(no nails or screws).
It's not finished until it's “finished”
No plastic looking polyurethane finishes. Only natural plant based oil finishes are used here. From the sanding to the final buffing of the finish is a week long process. Each box is sanded and hand scraped to an ultra smooth surface before the first coat of hardwax oil is applied, allowed to dry overnight then sanded and repeated as many as 5 days before the final hand buffing. This final buffing creates that classic fine furniture feel. Beautiful sheen with silky smooth feel.
