With an engraved frontispiece portrait of Tupper. Beautifully decorated cloth binding with gilt designs; gilt page edges on all sides. Condition:
There are some tiny stain specks near the center of the front cover; clean back cover and spine; small cloth tears at the corners; light wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. Consistent mild retailer foxing to the pages (though heavier on the frontispiece and some end papers). Ex-library copy with an old ID label on the spine, an old library label affixed to the front pastedown, and a diagonal strip of paper and ID number written in pen on the rear pastedown (the opposing rear end paper has a tanned outline of the diagonal paper slip). Bright gilt page edges on all sides. Overall the book is in Good condition.
