Antique Carl Tielsch Altwasser Germany Gold Gilt Colorful Grape retailer & Vine Hand-painted Plate

This is a beautiful antique plate made by the Altwasser factory in Germany which was originally founded by Carl Tielsch, and later expanded by his son. It was made sometime between 1900-1934, but most likely towards the beginning of the 20th century. This plate measures 8 1/2” in diameter retailer. Gold gilt edging surrounds a beautiful and colorful grape and vine motif with hand painted touches. There is some minor wear on the back of the plate due to age and use. There are also some spots of wear in places on the front of the plate that can be felt, but are hard to see. Overall, it is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or signs of repair.
