This is an etched goldtone makeup compact from Elgin American. This vintage compact come complete with the original box and bag. It has flowers etched on the top. The flowers have green and clear rhinestones in them. Inside is the separate powder compartment, mirror and makeup pad. This marked compact was produced in the mid century. It was carried in a woman's purse and used for those quick touch up jobs. This compact will make a wonderful gift for that special woman in your life. It is in very good vintage condition. The mirror is slightly foggy. The powder compartment is empty and clean.
