A terrific mid-century, wall-mount weather station, made by Verichron. It is striking for its classic mid-century style and its brushed gold tone gauge frames, contrasting against the mid-century wood.

The panel - made of hardwood - includes two round brushed gold-tone rimmed gauges: a thermometer to measure temperature and a barometer to measure barometric pressure (like all barometers, this may need to be set according to your location - easy entry from the back.). Terrific, vintage typeface on each gauge and large enough to read even from a distance. The wood has double inset black depressions running the length of the wood giving it a striking appearance.;

The temperature gauge is measured in Fahrenheit.

Plastic/plexiglass covers each gauge.

The piece measures 12.5-inches long, X 4-inches wide X 2.5-inch deep (including the gauges). The faces for each of the gauges measures 3-inches across.

A sweet and interesting feature is a small, rectangular gold plaque at the base that reads: Hastings County Principals Association 1973.

The weather gauge is in good, vintage condition with minor surface scratches and scuffs that come with use and age. The wood is solid and the gauges appear to be in working order. There is a hook on the back for wall mounting.
