retailer This is a lovely vintage 8-piece Grenoble snack set which includes four luncheon/salad plates and four teacups/coffee cups in the original box made in Japan. The design on the glossy white scalloped edge plates features pretty petaled daffodil flowers in bright colors of yellow, orange and green with a circular indentation in the center for the teacup to sit. The cups have a ridged paneled design with the matching floral motif. The plates measure approximately 8" in diameter and the cups measure 3" tall and 3 1/4" in diameter and are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with surface wear including utensil wear, imperfections and tiny black flecks on the china (please see last picture). The box shows heavy wear including rips, tears, scuffs, dings, stains and markings, with a section of the lid missing.
