This kurinuki chawan (Tea Bowl) was carved by hand out of a solid shaped block retailer of high iron stoneware containing a heavy feldspar aggregate. It was then glazed and fired to Cone 10 (about 2350F, 1287C). The clay is completely vitrified at this temperature and can safely be microwaved and washed in the dishwasher.

All pieces ship double boxed.
