UK and EURO SHADES:

Shades will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder 40mm. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders 27mm, most common in Europe, simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.

USA SHADES:

The washer fitting (1/2" ring) is the most common lamp fitting in the US. This fitting will fit lamps that use a harp or vertical rod system to hold the lampshade, the decorative finial can then be screwed on top.

SAFETY

Low energy bulbs must be used with your lampshades, they use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings. All PVC fittings have been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and have passed the glow wire test and comply with the British Standard for Luminaries BS EN 60598-1-2008

BRITISH MADE

Handmade in my studio in the Shropshire countryside in the UK. All products are made to order, which means no two will be identical. This also means that they may take longer to arrive than mass produced items so please bear this in mind when ordering. It also means that your item will be unique, made especially for you and made to higher standard than many off-the-shelf products. I have over 20 years years experience in making soft furnishings and take pride in every single item I make so you can be assured that the product you receive will be of the very best quality.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

Please note that due to pattern size and by the nature of these being handmade, no two will be identical. I will always ensure that there is a good pattern placement. If you have a specific pattern placement request, please contact me first as whilst I will endeavour to meet your requirements, in some rare cases there may be an additional fee due to fabric wastage.

SOFT FURNISHINGS
