One of retailer a kind inspirational 'Smile' Dog print wall hanging

This is the first quilt project off my new machine with fabrics from my favorite projects that have various textures for a wall hanging to look at and touch. The squares were quilted in flying geese pattern in brown. The printed fabric in center was quilted in clear retailer thread around the dog, tan for the beach sand and blues for the waves. The word 'smile' is quilted around the border and the project is bound with black velvet. A loop of brown fabric is sewn into the quilt for hanging on a rod like a towel bar. One photo is detail of dog print on the unfinished project.


I only have one of this print but four other dog prints that I plan to quilt with the same fabrics. Watch this spot for when I complete those!
