Hh Large Planter with Lotus Flowers, Koi, and Birds Made from Japanese Earthenware retailer and Hand Painted in Hong Kong

Absolutely gorgeous, this planter features a lotus pond and lotus flowers, Japanese Koi fish swimming in the upper section, and bright, colorful birds swooping down towards the lotus blossoms.
The main colors are bold and deep retailer in a dark celadon green and rust / russet.
The design is unusual and the Hh made planters are hard to find and treasured for their beauty.
As stated on the bottom, the earthen body was made in Japan and the blank (pottery that is not yet painted) was hand panted in Hong Kong.
This piece is 5" high. Across the wider section it is 7.5" and across the other section it is 6.75".

The piece is in amazing vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing found. This is an estate sale purchase and there was still soil inside when I purchased it. I have thoroughly cleaned the piece but the interior has discoloration from years of holding soil. There is also some discoloration to the unglazed rim at the bottom and to some portions of the ridge on which the piece rests (portions of the lowest edge of the visible vertical face)- please see the photos.
