Hotcha! This vintage 1920s beaded flapper purse is a dream, in red and blag glass beads, with lots of looped fringe, a beaded ball accent at the base, and a looong looped red beaded tail. It's meant to have a drawstring handle, which is not present, but easily remedied with your own chain or ribbon.
The beadwork on this 20s Art Deco evening bag is in excellent shape, with no damage to note. These purses are also known as a dance purse or tango purse, and the handle would drape over your wrist or fingers as you swooned around with your sweetie!

COLOR: Red and black. The cotton thread is light brown.

MATERIAL: Glass, cotton.

MEASUREMENTS:
Length (including long loop at bottom): 17 in. (43.2 cm)
Width (fully extended, at mouth): 4 in. (10.2 cm)
Interior depth: 7 in. (17.8 cm)

CONDITION: While this purse is listed in our "distressed category" all it's really missing is a handle, which would have been either a chain or ribbon threaded through the top as a drawstring. Other than that it appears to be in excellent condition, with a few loose threads to be trimmed near the top.
