Hand Painted Hummingbird on retailer Slate

retailer A pretty ruby throated hummingbird has been hand painted on a slate tile. This type of hummingbird, only found in the new world, is painted in a hovering position as it feeds on a flower for its nectar. The tile is 7 1/2 inches square mounted in a 12 inch square wood frame. The tile is unsigned and displays roughened edges and a wavy surface that adds to its charm. The wood frame does show some loss of stain. The slate tile is in excellent condition and ready for hanging in your home.
