The inscription suggests the man in the photo is C.E. Baker. (Charles Elmer Baker) , photographed January 15, 1909. C. E. Baker was a mortician who was one of the oldest members of the Indiana Morticians Society.

Sent to Clint Crane, a furniture and casket maker from Crawfordsville Indiana, who likely took this photograph while traveling for business to Camden.

And what is up with that ghostly figure (dog ghost or ???) inside the carriage?
