Seashell and retailer Wood Gingerbread-look Cottage with "Chocolate Curls" on Roof

retailer On a purchased, unfinished wood house shell, I created a "gingerbread" cottage. Natural shells were used to simulate icing by using them in their natural state, as well as dyeing or painting the shells for accent. Glitter was used to simulate shimmering "sugar" on the roof and base of the house. On the top edge of the roof cut shells were used to simulate "chocolate curls." A variety of shells were used to achieve a Victorian cottage look.

This Christmas cottage measures 5 1/2" wide x 5" deep x 7" high.
