This listing is for a vintage/antique split oak/hardwood basket with hinged lid and two handles.

Beautiful oak wood and a great size for taking to the Farmer's market for all your goodies. Also great for use as a picnic basket, sewing basket or simply to place anywhere in your home for great decorative storage.
A very lovely piece in overall good vintage condition.

Overall signs of age so please know this wonderful split oak basket has been lovingly used but does show signs consistent with age.

Basket measures approximately 13.5 inches long x 12 inches wide X 5 inches high.

Overall just a great vintage piece that dates back to the 1940's. When these basket were made they were made to LAST.
The hinges could use some TLC as with the latch on the front but these still function and would be an easy fix if desired.

Has been in my family for decades. Well cared for and for years it was used to store old family photos in.
