Set of 6 handmade lampwork beads. Large, round eye-catching beads that will make a stunning necklace.

I have departed from my usual more regular patterning to make a set of beads with an abstract design inspired by the work of the artist Kandinsky. The colors I have used are bold and contrasting.

The bases are of red and olive green glass and the surface decorations have been applied using yellow, dark blue, lavender, red and orange glasses.

The beads have been etched for a soft matte finish.

All my beads have been annealed in my kiln for added strength and durability.

I use the Lampwork technique to make all my beads, melting glass in a hot torch flame and adding decoration in the flame with more molten glass. Please see my 'about' section for images.
