The Story:
For some years Madame Tabouis made it her business to present an "inside" view of European diplomacy in the Paris newspaper L'Oeuvre. In these memoirs one will find her highly personal version of the dreary road followed by France to collapse. The Author:
Geneviève Tabouis (23 September 1892 – 22 September 1985) was a French historian and journalist. Tabouis moved in the highest social circles in France and England. She was invited to the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1936, referring in her autobiography to her coronation robe made by Edward Molyneux and to having retailer her hair coiffured by one of the most popular hairdressers in London.
