Amish or Mennonite Box, Vintage Hand Painted retailer Earthenware, Polychrome Flowers, Hearts, Birds, Ring Box, Jewelry Box, or Trinket Pottery Box

This is a beautiful and unusually detailed hand painted Amish or Mennonite decorated earthenware trinket box or jewelry box or keepsake box. This was likely made in America and it is signed retailer by the artist "Bess Price" on the underside of the lid and on the bottom of the box. Lovely hand painted pair of love birds, a large heart, a symbolic ring, and flowers on the top, and the sides are decorated. The lid fits properly. The compact fired earthenware pottery box is in good condition, with no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no chips, no fleabites, and just an appealing bit of crazing. Bright and clear colors. The rounded rectangular box measures about 5" by 3 3/4" and it is 3 1/2" high. Crisp and clean inside. Unusual and rare find. Very nice piece.
