Vintage Bell System Western Electric Rotary Desk Phone 1984 G6 handset. Working rotary phone from 1984 in standup condition. It has a little dust and dirt in the corners and crevices- it seems the more I clean it, the more little dust retailer spots I see. It has a little scuff mark on the back corner. It also has a feature that makes it a rare phone. In the last picture you'll see the handset is tagged with the code G6. The G6 is an amplified handset with push-dial volume control that Bell made available to its hearing-impaired customers. If you'll notice, the handset is a lighter color than the phone itself. I imagine at some point during its life the owners of this phone found themselves struggling to hear on a standard handset and ordered an amplified one as a replacement.
