Each Face Canister is individually hand made using red stoneware clay retailer. High fired, all face canisters are lead free, dishwasher safe, & microwave safe. Since they are handmade, each canister is unique and will vary in size and shape.

This item is:

It is 8" tall with the lid


Using red stoneware clay each canister starts it's life with a couple of pounds of clay, then thrown into a cylinder on the potter's wheel. A lid is also thrown to fit each canister. At leather hard the canister is then trimmed, the face is then applied. The lid is trimmed separately. Once they are dry they go through a low firing called a bisque firing to prepare them for glazing. After they are fired they are is glazed then high fired.

They are great for your favorite candy, nuts or anything you wish to hide from the kids prying eyes.
