• Vintage and Rare RS Prussia Steeple Mold 6, shaving retailer mug, Bavarian, roses, blues, ornate porcelain mold, incised #71, Art Nouveau, unmarked
• This beautifully decorated mug is divided in two halves, one half is for the brush or razor (where the 3 holes are for drainage ) and the deeper half for the water. There is a spot for a mirror but alas it must of been broken and removed. This would make a very rare/unique gift for that special man/woman, appreciative of such finds! It is over 100 years old!
• This item would date back to 1800's through World War I
• Measures: Saucer: 3 H x 4 W inches wide with handle
• Porcelain is in great vintage shape with no cracks, no chips - high quality porcelain of the times. The transferware/paint is intact but a bit of ageing is apparent, while the gild has most noticeable wear on the handle. Nevertheless it is still a rare beauty!
•Reinhold Schlegelmilch started his porcelain works in Suhl, Germany, in 1869. Porcelain made by Schlegelmilch factories is referred to by collectors as RS Prussia
