Vintage Needlepoint, retailer Counter Cross Stitch, “Asparagus”

Purchased at a local estate sale this delicate counter cross stitch depicts a bundle of Asparagus in soft greens and touches of pink. The stitch count if fine, appears to be 22 count on an off white fabric.

This charming work is professionally framed and double matted. The frame is medium brown with a light and a dark green matte.

Measurements:
Wood Frame - 12 1/2” x 9 3/4”
Matte - 10 1/2” x 7 3/4”
Needlepoint - 6 3/4” x 3 3/4”

In excellent vintage condition.
