Antique Pair of Knife Rests, Silver Plated Serveware, retailer Chopstick Rests

These are a lovely pair of knife rests. They are in their original presentation box and would make a fantastic gift.

The centre retailer of both rests are bone. They have gold tone metal edges and Silver Plated ends and feet. They are most likely from the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are no date or maker's marks on them.

They come in their original presentation box which is in good vintage condition.

The bone is smooth on the knife rests and the Silver Plate is shiny. The gold colour has worn in parts on the edges and there is a bit of tarnish in places on the rests, which adds to the vintage look.

A couple of the rest feet don't sit flat on the surface, which can be seen in the photos, but this wouldn't affect their use.

Each rest measures 10.7cm in length (4.25 inches). The height to the bar of each rest is 2.8cm (1.1 inches).
