Kalimbas are a great instrument for the experienced and unexperienced musician alike! In fact, its damn hard to get a bad sound out of a kalimba, even if you've never played one before. Its etherial and calming sounds make it a great solo instrument, or the perfect addition to any chill acoustic jam session.

My kalimbas are made with quality hard woods, and built in such a way to improve the tone and resonance.
This Padauk is probably the most beautiful wood I have worked with to date, and would make a fine addition to any collection.

I start by cutting each piece to the proper measurements, then carve out a sound chamber with hand tools to give each instrument a warm, clear sound. I glue, sand, and finish the wood with a polyurethane, before finally installing the keys and tuning the instrument.
