It's your About page that introduces your to your website visitors and tells them what you do. It is therefore vital that it creates a great first impression. It builds a rapport that will hopefully turn these visitors into customers. So think of your About page as speed-dating with a potential customer! They're on the prowl for the right business and you only have a few short moments to win them over.
I will provide around 300 words to succinctly describe the ethos of your business, yourself and your products. If you're stuck for words, I can help. Here are a few questions I would like you to answer:
- what is the idea behind your business, how did it get started
- what background/qualifications do you have in relation to your business
- what part of your business do you feel really passionate about
- what age group/sex is your majority target market
- what is the USP (Unique retailer Selling Point) of your products
You can give me the above information in bullet form, no need to try and string sentences together, that's my job. :-)
Your About page description will be emailed to you in PDF format. All you'll need to do is copy and paste it on your website or online store.
