This light belt is made of two interconnected, brown leather pieces that are attached to a lower layer of bordeau, textured cotton. The back features a spacer to give an extra bespoke option and a perfect fit, and is locked at the front by a rounded copper belt buckle with a Samurai inspired pattern. Beruto means belt in Japanese
Originally, martial arts practitioners wore black or white bands while training in a kimono. The colored belts used to indicate the rank came much later, in the early 1900s introduced into judo.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible and extend life. Make sure your leather products stay dry when they are stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If the leather is often wet and dry, increase the maintenance frequency.

Cleaning
By removing dirt with a hard brush, gently rub over the leather soap with a clean, moist cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue, then use a dry cloth to wipe any remaining water from the leather.

Conditions
You should always condition the leather after cleaning, as the soap has removed some of the natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil or bee wax polish with a clean cloth, carefully rubbing a small amount of oil into the leather or polishing in circles. Soak the leather in the oil before wiping the leather with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
