Vintage Val St Lambert Crystal Salad Bowl retailer with the Brussels Pattern - Intaglio Fruit Design - Belgium

Here you have a beautiful cristal salad bowl with a scalloped rim. The bottom of the bowl has a Intaglio fruit design which was a popular form of pressed glass decoration in the early to mid 20th century. The bowl still has it's original sticker and has the name of the company engraved under it.

The S.A. "Verreries et Etablissements du Val Saint-Lambert" was founded in Seraing, Belgium in 1826. The "Cristalleries du Val Saint-Lambert" was created on August 1, 1879 and is still in existence.
