A gorgeous small vintage wicker picnic or storage basket with a flap lid and carrying handle on the top. This is a stable, strong hand-made basket with wooden slats across the base and lid, and a sturdy cane framework. The lid is held closed by a cane which goes through two wicker loops.
This basket is in very good condition, just a small area at one end where it looks as if the retailer wicker has perhaps been bleached in the sun.
The base of the basket measures 34cms (just under 13.5”) by 21cms (8.25”) and the height is approximately 24cms (9.5”).
A very attractive and useful vintage basket.
This basket requires a sizeable box for packing and so unfortunately it is expensive to ship internationally.
