Vintage Czechoslovakian Bohemian Art Glass Tuba Player figurine. Hand blown art glass figurine is hand painted and in retailer flawed condition. The detail is wonderful! Notice his red nose and his stance to keep balance! This figurine is from the Zelezny Brod Glassworks Company. 7.5" tall x 4" circular base. This guy evidently took a hit at some point. Notice the photo closeup of the base at his right foot. There is a crack. It appears to have occurred at the factory as the repair is seamless. The other flaw is on the tuba itself. The photo closeup shows the missing piece just above the player's left hand. Almost not noticeable, but please take note. These defects reduce the price on this piece of art glass significantly, but the piece is endearing nevertheless. Czechoslovakia no longer exists. There will be no more Czech Bohemian figurines created.
