Kumihimo is very time consuming. It takes almost 8 hours to make an extra long necklace.
Kumihimo cord was first made in the 7th Century and was used for making the cords that tied together Samurai Armor. It has become popular again, by the addition of beads.

Please try to keep away from water, perfumes and lotions. The accents are all bronze plated and I make sure that I use only quality items but with time and constant use they might lose their color. In that case use a jewelry cloth to clean them.
