An original shape for a French crucifix, and in good condition.
The figure is in metal (Brass) and is mounted on a shield shaped piece of wood.
A crucifix was often part of a traditional french interior, and would generally be hung above the bed.
A splendid vintage crucifix that would enhance any interior.

Condition: in good condition for its age with signs of previous use. There is some wear on the varnish and tarnishing on metal elements.
A little bit of care (light sanding and a new coat of varnish ) will restore this item to it's previous splendour.
