retailer This is a vintage, pairing of a hand-carved, cowrie-shell souvenir from Bar Harbor, Maine and a vintage 1950s lobster pin. The seashell measures 2x2.75 inches in size and features an articulated lobster which is one of the states' main industries. I have quite a collection of these carved shells, but this is the first I have come across one with a lobster. The second item is a rhinestone/enamel, lobster pin. It is a small, unmarked pin measuring approximately 1.25 inches wide x 2 inches in length. It is made of silver-tone metal with red & black enameling and topped off with a large, turquoise, glass rhinestone. This pin has some missing enameling, but overall in pretty, good condition. These are being sold as a set only. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable.
