Elegant Art Deco Designer Pillbox Hat by Barbara Wood of Sanford, NC.

A pillbox hat is a small hat, with a flat crown, straight, upright sides, and no brim. It is named after the small cylindrical or hexagonal cases that pills used to be sold in.

Beautiful Retro hat made famous by Jackie O & Audrey Hepburn Style from the 1950s & 60s.

Glamorous classic design pillbox with a dazzling, elaborate/intricate bead and rhinestone piece in front softened by a seductive birdcage style eye veil.

Equally lovely is the wide sheer lace bow with circular detailed tiny silver bead and sequin embellishment.

Made of woven polypropylene fibers (Cello Straw).

Grosgrain band inside has a touch discoloration, and two incidental tiny breaks in the mesh, barely noticeable when worn. These do not in any way detract from the overall loveliness of this wonderful vintage head piece Price reflects these minor imperfections.

Measures 7" inside diameter. Overall size is 9" x 10" x 3 1/2" deep.
