This is a beautiful Vintage Carved Gemstone Bonsai Tree. It is vintage/antique from an estate, probably from the first half of the 20th century. The leaves and flowers are all hand carved from real semi-precious gemstones (you can purchase modern copies that are made of molded glass, or un-carved stones, but this is the true vintage carved stone type). The planter is also carved jade stone. The leaves are carved jade and the petals are carved rose retailer quartz, agate, carnelian crystal. The flowers are mounted on bendable silk-wrapped wires and attached to a the bonsai trunk. In excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks as far as I can tell, but please look at the photos carefully for condition. Measures about 8" tall x 8" wide. The jade pot measures 4" x 2.7" x 1.5" high.
