Whiting retailer and Davis Metal Mesh Purse

retailer This is a beautiful Whiting & Davis metal mesh purse with signature logo tag on the interior. Hand carry chain is well attached. Purse has a silver tone metal frame with ornate floral design and is in very good condition for its age. Fringed bottom gives this purse a true feeling from the roaring 1920's. Hinges work well, purse opens and snap closes smoothly. Outside is covered in patina and could probably be cleaned up if desired; purse is just as beautiful as is. It looks like some of the color has worn off over time, and there are a few loose mesh connects by the hinges, but overall in very good vintage condition.

This purse would be an excellent addition to a collection, or would make a definite statement at your next holiday party.
