Antique Leather Asian Indian retailer Elephant Figurine, Distressed

Asian elephant made of paper mache, then wrapped in leather. This one is quite old and shows considerable leather wear and a missing ear, but also a sweetness that most of the newer African retailer elephants seem to lack.
Tusks, trunk and tail have most of the wear (photos).
