This is a versatile and functional Leather Card & Notes Holder made out of Luxury Horween Shell Cordovan in the Dark Cognac. Holds up to 5 credit cards (expanding to 6 over time) in the main compartment and a couple of Bank notes lodged in the front flap.

This card holder wallet is hand made, hand cut and saddle stitched with Ritza thread or 2 loop stitches. The edges are bevelled and burnished. The leather is finished with a wax polish.

MATERIALS:
Shell Cordovan is considered to be one of the world's best leathers due to the fact that it ripples rather than creases like other leathers. It is a small cut of equine leather and it takes a lot of work to get to the finished product which is why so little is produced in comparison to other types of leather. It is smooth, lustrous, and richly coloured in shades of burgundy, brown, and black – but it has some unique properties that makes it ideal for high end shoes. It's far rarer and more labour-intensive leather than cowhide and is highly sought after by luxury brands and about 8 to 10 times more expensive than cow leather.

Horween's Shell is soft and smooth and the Colour 8 is a deep Burgundy & Brown hues. The colour's name comes from the fact that it is dyed in Horween's secret red formula eight times.
