Vintage 1960s Aztec Dragon Large Hand Tooled Leather Purse from Mexico . Beautifully Detailed on Front w/ Scrolling Art Nouveau Floral Design and the Back Depicts 2 Aztec Dragons. The Aztec Dragon is both Serpent & Part Bird symbolizing Rebirth & Renewal in Mexican Folklore, and was a Powerful Revered retailer God in Ancient Aztec and Mayan Mythology. Large & Heavy Double Handled Footed Purse Stands on its Own and Makes a Beautiful Display Piece when not in use. It has 3 Roomy & Clean Suede Interior Divided Compartments w/ very little signs of use, and 2 Side Zipper Pockets. Overall, it's in Very Good Condition w/ some age related wear to the stitching on the interior fold over closure, and some glue has worn off one corner at the bottom of purse.
