Each clay piece is carefully crafted and coated in resin. They are incredibly durable, but brass stars may tarnish if left out over long periods of time. To prevent retailer tarnishing store in a clean, sealed plastic bag. If stars do tarnish they can be cleaned up with a polishing cloth. The clay pieces are made from black cernit clay, acrylic paint, and color shifting white/green mica powder. Once mixed together they create a snake like iridescent pattern. Wear in sunlight for the full effect.

All hardware is nickel free. Ball studs are 18k gold plated brass and come with silicone push backs.
