It might have been opened but I don't think I used it. That was purchased separately it doesn't normally come with this device . •New this comes with 300,000 “flashes” before needing to replace lamp head. I've used approx only 3%.. Pic of retailer the screen shows how many flashes remain. •This unit came with the hair removal lamp head but I believe you can buy lamp heads for acne & skin rejuvenation that fit device. •Device has been wiped down with disinfectant •Fairly easy to use. Just don't push the “trigger” repeatedly really fast. There are green indication lights on the side that let you know when it's ready to “zap” the hair again.
