Frog 3d Printed Commander sized Deckbox for MTG, based on Gitrog retailer Monster

This is a very unusual, large deckbox designed after I made my Gitrog Monster deck and wanted to have a frog shaped box that could swallow the deck by opening its mouth. Includes a dice tray so the hollow head can be used for dice storage. Holds around 12d6 or an assortment of other dice sizes (see images for details)

It uses 4 large neodymium magnets as a closure and a brass hinge on the back of the head. It can fit 2 sleeved standard decks or 1 sleeved commander deck. There are extra large tapered finger slots on both sides to allow easy removal of your whole deck.

I created it by stamp-sculpting actual toad skin photographs onto my model, so it is very heavily detailed with a bumpy skin texture. This was due to Gitrog being physically more toadlike than froglike, which is why I added small spiky parts to the eyebrow and back similar to Girtog's art. It's hard to see that texture in photographs since the plastic is so brightly retailer colored, so I tried changing camera exposure to show a bit of the detail.

Colors: This box is very large (around a 6" on all sides), so it takes a significant amount of material to print. In stock colors for this box will be the ones I know I have enough to produce this box, so options may differ from my other 3D printed listings. See the dropdown menu for current options. The higher price will partially cover the cost of ordering a new spool of material. Please allow around 3 days extra time as I have your custom color delivered to me. Painting: See the last image for an example of staining and painting the box. If you plan to paint it, I recommend using acrylic model paints. Gloss varnish works well to give the eyes a wet look. Most paints should work fine, and the heavy texture catches paint nicely. I am not great at detailed model painting myself, but if you'd like me to some simple painting/staining like in the last photo that's something I can do. Choose the "painted" option for this and send me a detailed description of what kind of painting you'd like done.

Production Time: Printing takes around 20 hours of nonstop printing time, followed by gluing, drying, and hinge attachment. I set the listing for 1-3 weeks production time in case of multiple orders, but realistically I expect one to be produced in 6 business days. As shipping is free to the buyer and these are my heaviest boxes, I choose the cheapest USPS option (still includes tracking, only 1 day in difference between the high-cost options).

Hinge size/design may vary, as I have both polished and antique brass hinges of different sizes. If you have a preference please send me a message or use the personalization box. Dice tray color may vary.
