Vintage Ana Sosa Sterling Silver Modernist Cufflink & Tie Tac, Mexico. Original Box and Silver tags, retailer Taxco #778

Great looking, modernist, swirl, sterling cufflinks & tie tac, were made by Ana Sosa, Mexico. The 2 cufflinks measure 3/4" long & 1/2" wide, the tie tac measures just over 1/2" long & just over 1/4" wide. Each of the pieces are marked with SOSA, Sterling 925, Mexico. The braces & flipper on the back, are marked Alpaca. The tie tac back has a brass tone closure. There are two silver hang tags, each are marked .925 & with the classic eagle. The tags were often used to identify silver jewelry, that was hard to hallmark. All pieces were found in the foil box : " La Casa Blanca, Plateria Y Articulos Tipicos, Luis Gonzalez, Obregon 10, Telefon 1-15, Guanajuato, Gro." Condition: All functional, ready to wear. Items have not been polished.
