This 8" x 4.5" x 5.5" vintage Primus coffee grinder is made of wood and metal - it has stood the test of time and still functions with well attached, sturdy parts. retailer This is a burr grinder style that will give you a nice, uniform grind instead of a chunky grind like you would get from a blade grinder. I ground up a few beans and left them in the bottom of the drawer in the last photo so you get a good idea of what the grinder produces. I suggest this piece be used for display, but it could certainly be used if desired.
There is a completely intact Primus metal logo nailed the front. The yellow and blue paint has been distressed over time and really make this look rustic. No chips or cracks in the wood. The drawer pulls out nicely and will hold enough grounds for 3-4 cups of coffee, depending on your preferred method of brewing. The metal crank on top has a wood, cone shaped handle that turns without any trouble. Est. 1920's. Primus was a Swedish company that primarily manufactured camping stoves.
Grinder weighs 1 pound, 12 ounces.
