This listing is for a beautiful antique brooch featuring a motif of butterfly and floral/foliage elements. The design of this brooch are nicely rendered, has some lovely detailing and to some degree is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style. The brooch measures roughly 1 1/2" in height and 2 1/2" in width. It appears to be made either of fairly lightweight copper or brass. The piece is in good vintage condition, but by no means is it perfect. :-) The front has lovely aged retailer surface, the back side shows small amounts of verdigris and some bends in the pin of the closure.
