The Polaroid 600 Square instant camera is easy to use by its pointed and photographed system. Its square and pop-up shape made it an icon when it was first released in 1981.

This model is an advance over the initial series because it includes an retailer automatic flash integrated into a similar case, with straight edges. This Polaroid has a plastic lens with a 116mm fixed focal length element and an exposure correction slider on the front.
Eventually, several variants of this device were made for the international and promotional markets.
