This a spectacular 1950s vintage AB rhinestone brooch. The Aurora Borealis rhinestones are large, medium, and small sizes and are all original, faceted, and prong set. This midcentury beauty is in a square shape with a rich goldtone setting. There is a high layered flower design center that is joined to the outside square with rhinestone spokes. The brooch is openwork between these spokes. The brooch is on the larger size measuring 2 1/4” x 2 1/4” and it has a straight pinback that closes easily and securely. The back has minimal wear and looks great. The dimensionality and dazzling rhinestones make this brooch a winner.
