A chilly high mountain lake as seen through a cluster of trees after a major snowfall. The distant mountains are reflected in the not-yet frozen waters of the lake.

This piece was done on a reclaimed canvas panel. What is a reclaimed panel? This canvas used to contain a different painted scene. It was painted over and this new piece was then created on the canvas. This is not noticeable at all from all but the closest distance. Upon close examination you can make out small ridges where the previous painting resides but from any distance this is not noticeable at all. Being retailer a reclaimed canvas, it is priced accordingly. As you can see from the photos, it is hard to tell another painting once occupied this panel.
