This is a beautiful estate find. Framed portrait from 1914. Gorgeous young woman in a hat with a rose. I believe this to be the original frame. Like pencil marks can be seen with a loop. It measures approximately 14” x 12”. The frame is partially wood and some other type of celluloid material. It's cracked at the corners. It has a bunch of scratches. The back of the frame has a sticker that reads George B Peck Fine Art Department. Kansas City, Missouri. I researched this and found that this building use to be a department store in the shopping area known as Petticoat Lane Please view the photos. It's signed by retailer the artist and dated. Beautiful piece of history captured in this moment. Great piece to add to your boudoir!
