These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made retailer with genuine Imperial German Empire (Deutsches Reich) half mark coins dated from 1916, over 105 years ago commemorating the First World War. This pair of cufflinks are made from two silver half mark coins showing both the obverse (Imperial Eagle with shield) and reverse (date and value) of the coins. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history being minted during the First World War. The German Empire (Deutsches Reich) silver half mark coins have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the coins whilst highlighting the details and date of these original 106 year-old coins.
