A beautifully illustrated song book of lullabies for young children. There is a different song for every month of the year with written music and a colored illustration. "Baby's Lullaby Book, Mother Songs" includes songs written by Charles Stuart Pratt, music retailer by G.W. Chadwick.

The tipped in chromolithographs are based on original watercolors by W.L. Taylor. The book was published in 1888 by L. Prang & Co. of Boston. It is bound in silk covered boards. The book measures 13 x 11 x 3/4.

CONDITION: The silk covers are soiled and show wear at the edges. The "October" chromolithograph has a few scratches. There is light toning of the pages. No plates are missing, although the tissue paper covers for the illustrations are gone.
